On Mount Tambu, New Guinea September 30th, 1943, Leslie "Bull" Allen MM, age 26, of Ballarat, Victoria, carrying a wounded American soldier to safety. Allen carried out twelve American casualties while under fire on Mount Tambu. For this gallantry he received the United States Silver Star.

Our bronze figurine is the result of extensive research and careful sculpting and review. At 4KG it has the weight, presence and feel of a true museum quality sculpture.
