Desert Tiger Stripe
Originally developed in the lead-up to Operation Desert Storm in the early 1990s, Desert Tiger Stripe was designed to bring the disruptive effect of traditional Tiger Stripe into arid and semi-arid environments. Issued in limited quantities to US Marine Corps special operations units, the pattern quickly earned a reputation for effective concealment in sand, rock, and scrub terrain, especially during early deployments to the Middle East.
Though never formally adopted across a wide scale, Desert Tiger Stripe gained a cult following among American and allied special operations personnel, thanks to its distinctive aesthetic and real-world performance in theatres like Iraq and Afghanistan. It remains a favourite for operators, collectors, and professionals who appreciate gear with proven heritage and uncompromising style.
