Tigerstripe Camouflage
Tigerstripe emerged as one of the most iconic camouflage patterns of the Vietnam War era — known not for being standard issue, but for being chosen by those who didn’t wait for permission. Originally worn by U.S. advisors and special operations forces embedded with South Vietnamese units, the pattern was tailored locally, resulting in numerous unique variants.
Over time, Tigerstripe became the unofficial uniform of elite units operating in Vietnam — from Green Berets and SEALs to Marine Recon and LRRPs. Its distinctive horizontal brush pattern, designed for dense jungle, offered both practical concealment and a psychological edge.
Decades later, Tigerstripe still holds its ground — favoured by operators, professionals, and those who value a pattern with legacy, attitude, and purpose.
Worn by choice. Recognised on sight. Still earning its stripes.
