Details

One of the best known and widely used Platatac plate carriers is the SMAC, designed and supplied in response to a SOCOMD requirement. With adaptability being key and without sacrificing comfort for durability, the SMAC2 features the same simple, well thought out design as its predecessor with some added benefits.

SMAC2 is a lightweight, low profile and versatile MOLLE plate carrier. The addition of the integrated 3 x rifle mag insert and hydration/MOE tool pouch at the rear, allows the user to significantly adapt the load carriage options specific to your mission and role.

Run the SMAC2 as a low profile carrier with the rifle mag insert clipped in or in the front pouch or attach the mag carrying elastic cummerbund to boost mag and accessories carriage options. Fully scale up and attach any molle compatible pouches and you have an all-round mission-critical solution.

The SMAC2 comes standard with a MOLLE mesh cummerbund, mag carrying elastic cummerbund, wrap around shoulder pads, rifle mag insert which can be inserted in the front pouch, clipped into the front of the SMAC2 or used as a low profile chest rig with the Chicom Banga harness.

All neatly packed in its own XXL DB Organiser.

Interior hook and loop attachment points for ASAD shoulder or collar soft armour upgrades
Bartacked stress points and Milspec sewing standards
Front and back Velcro sewn over the PALS to attach flags and call-sign patches
