Coyote Brown Khaki
Coyote Brown Khaki was introduced in the early 2000s as part of the U.S. military’s transition toward modular, scalable load carriage systems. Developed to complement emerging desert camouflage patterns while maintaining versatility across mixed terrain, it quickly became the standard colour for load-bearing equipment, body armour, and field gear.
Positioned between darker earth tones and lighter sand colours, Coyote Brown Khaki provides a balanced, neutral profile that blends effectively with arid terrain, dry vegetation, and urban environments. Its adaptability also allows it to integrate seamlessly with a wide range of camouflage patterns, making it particularly suited for modular systems and multi-environment use.
Widely adopted by U.S. and allied military forces — including special operations units — Coyote Brown Khaki remains one of the most trusted and widely issued colours for tactical gear.
Balanced. Adaptable. Built for changing terrain.
