The Platatac Short Single Shingle Pouch is a great option for belt mounting a 5.56 mag or mags. The pocket isn’t as deep as some pouches so, while it still provides secure storage, other advantages come to the fore.

The Short Single Shingle Pouch comes with an elasticated mag retention with a large easily gripped tab. This allows that mag to be grabbed quickly without diverting an operator’s attention from whatever confronts them.
