CRABS V2 Placard / Chest Rig System

The CRABS V2 System is a modular placard and chest rig platform designed to adapt to the modern warfighter’s load carriage requirements.

At its core is the CRABS V2 Base Panel — the foundation of the system. Designed for maximum flexibility, it accepts interchangeable magazine and admin inserts and features front loop Velcro for attaching pocket panels, allowing you to configure your loadout based on mission requirements or unit SOPs.

The low-profile design makes the CRABS V2 ideal for CQB, vehicle operations, MFF and other insertion methods where a compact footprint is essential.

Using industry-standard buckle interfaces, the system can be mounted directly to most armour carriers as a placard, or converted into a standalone chest rig using our Chicom harness and back panel system.

For expanded capacity, the rear Velcro sandwich integrates seamlessly with the ASAD sub-load pouch range, allowing additional carriage for medical supplies, ammunition, grenades, communications equipment and other mission-essential gear.

The result is a scalable platform that evolves with the mission — from minimalist placard to fully configured chest rig.
