The Platatac VM Chest Rig – CAF Mod is a high-capacity, general-purpose load carriage platform built for users who need to carry more without sacrificing accessibility or comfort.

Designed to function equally well as a standalone chest rig or mounted directly to compatible armour carriers, the VM features a centre-opening zip for rapid donning and doffing—particularly useful when worn over armour or cold weather clothing.

Four double magazine pouches provide carriage for up to eight 5.56 magazines, while integrated utility pouches, large side GP pockets and rear map pockets offer ample storage for radios, water, navigation equipment, medical supplies and other mission-essential gear. The versatile magazine pouches can also accommodate larger 7.62 magazines, smoke grenades or compact medical kits, allowing the rig to be configured around the task at hand.

Supplied with both the Platatac CHICOM Low Profile Shoulder Straps and the lightweight CHICOM H-Harness, the VM can be configured for different loadouts while remaining comfortable under packs and other load carriage systems.

Built from genuine MILSPEC materials throughout, the VM Chest Rig is a proven solution for military, law enforcement and professional users requiring a durable, adaptable platform with significant carrying capacity.
