The Platatac Bullock Echo Extra Medium is the Long Day Pack in the Echo range, bridging the gap between the Bullock Echo V4 and the Bullock Echo Large.
Designed for extended day tasks, bulkier loads and additional sustainment, it delivers the proven Echo platform in a larger 20.4-litre format without stepping up to a full-sized 24-hour pack. Whether you're carrying extra clothing, mission-specific equipment or simply need more room than a standard assault pack provides, the Extra Medium gives you the capacity without the unnecessary bulk.
The enlarged 12-litre main compartment accommodates hydration systems and larger equipment, while a generous front admin pocket, fixed side utility pockets and internal MOLLE fields provide flexible organisation for mission-specific loadouts. Quick-release compression straps allow oversized items to be carried externally while still providing full access to the main compartment.
Like every pack in the Echo family, the Extra Medium retains the integrated helmet cradle with laser-cut MOLLE and a large loop field for identification or additional capability, making it equally at home on patrol, in vehicles or on extended training exercises.
When a standard day pack isn't quite enough, but a 30-litre pack is more than the job requires, the Bullock Echo Extra Medium is the answer.

I used the Bullock Extra Medium as my assault/patrol pack for a weeklong dismounted infantry exercise. No issues to report, held up great. Not too small, not too big, able to carry all mission equipment and still be top flapped on my ruck.
Only things I'd change would be the Chemlight elastic sleeves. Instead of having the whole chemlight covered, just have a small strip, so that it's easier to differentiate between colour's, especially if you tape up your chemlights differently to tell which is which under low light
