A gripping, firsthand account of extraordinary courage, part American Sniper, part real-life Die Hard, following an off-duty Special Forces soldier who fought a terrorist attack for twenty-two hours, saving dozens of American, Kenyan and European lives.

After an otherwise routine morning of firearms training, British SAS soldier Chris Craighead was settling into his new home in the bustling Kenyan capital of Nairobi. Then the phone rang.

On the other end was a friend and former British soldier. Gunfire could be heard in the background. His friend reported that the upscale DusitD2 hotel and office complex in Nairobi's affluent Westgate neighbourhood was under attack.

Within minutes, Chris was behind the wheel of his pickup, weapons case in the back, heading straight for the scene. What followed was a twenty-two-hour battle against a heavily armed terrorist unit intent on killing as many people as possible. Drawing on nearly three decades of elite military experience, Chris entered a deadly game of cat and mouse with the attackers, who had already detonated a suicide bomb.

Recounted in gripping, minute-by-minute detail, One Man In is an extraordinary true story of courage and decisive action. It tells the story of a Special Forces soldier who found himself in the middle of a terrorist attack and made the decision to do something about it.
