Naked Army’s early WW2 AIF portrayal shows an advancing Australian infantryman, circa 1941.
Rugged up against the bitter desert pre-dawn cold in greatcoat, leather jerkin and home-made balaclava, he carries the Short Magazine Lee Enfield (SMLE) rifle, and is portrayed during the opening stages of Australia’s first full engagement against enemy troops in the Second World War, at Bardia, Libya.

These hand-made sets feature a hand-crafted 7”/180mm NAKED ARMY cold cast bronze figurine with a black 15x10cm photoframe, on a contemporary design cherry wood base.

These are ideal to display photographs of your loved ones, or that postcard of serving family. The photoframe frame can be positioned either upright or horizontally to cater for different format photographs, and the figurine can be positioned to the left or right of the photoframe. The base is protected underneath by a felt pad. Simple self-assembly required.
